The lapels fold open into wide points at the neckline, and the front panels keep their width from the chest down to the hem. Two openings sit at the hip through the side seams, and the hem runs in a level line below the knee. The sleeves fall full from the shoulder seam without pulling across the chest.

For everyday wear, the coat works over a fitted top or a knit dress, and the button front closes over the layer underneath on casual days and weekend outings through the fall season and into winter.
